Sigh some times I wonder if anyone on this site has ever played a RPG before. Journeying to your next city, dungeon or whatnot, and searching for other locations of interest is part of the whole experience.

Also before you even say it, don't worry, there will be plenty of places of interest on the world map, places wont be too far from another.

We all have our own preferences you know? It just that your seem to be really so focused on the traditional RPG set-ups of long ago. Yes it's nice and really good IMHO, but that's not everything there is to an RPG.

PS: This is just my HO, but RM games seem slower than other RPGs... Now I send you back the question, have you played a lot of RM games before? In other RPGs that I played since PS1 and gameboy, a little bit of big space is quite fast to navigate with, but in RM games that I played so far, it feels longer...

No I haven't, but if there's a problem with a game being way too slow, It's the developers fault, not the egine's or anyone elses.

The default settings them selves(which most use improved systems to beginwith anyway) aren't really that much slower then a commercially made game (ok the attacks in battle are, but there's a million, and one scripts to improve the fluidness/speed of such), and as you should be aware of, I have things under control(I was even looking for ways to speed up ships/airships).

If It's the story of the game you are hinting at, that's caused by bad writing, and even worse eventing.

Make your events fairly short, and exciting, with well executed writing. Do that, and the events/gameflow wont seem so slow.

Not the story, the game as a whole tends to be slow... I never said it was an engine problem, what I said was simply that MOST RM games that I played are like that... So yes, you'd do well to modify that

How many parameters is 'too many'??
Yay, now back in action Happy Christmas time, coming back!

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
