@Angelkitty510 I have deleted your post - it is hijacking this thread to ask a quite unrelated question which you have already asked elsewhere. Please do not spam the forum with this query.

Just released the beta of the English version of my game, Monigote Fantasy, in case you want to test it, which I'd love to. :D
It looks simple and cliché at first (that's precisely the joke) but the plot starts getting deeper over time (spoiler alert, maybe?).
I don't know if it's longer than you normally do, though.
    Anyway, here's the game's thread: https://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?threads/monigote-fantasy-beta-english.104314/
    Thanks! :kaojoy:

I would like to see my game Fields of Fire getting reviewed, though it's not an RPG but a strategy-citybuilding-game.

Check it out! Mongiote Fantasy got a 90/100!

BTW, I'm going to start doing videos instead of the written reviews, so hopefully, you'll be looking forward to the change in format. I would have started the videos with Mongiote Fantasy, but the file type wouldn't let me record for some reason. I'm not sure if the RPG Maker 2003 output has something to do with that or not. Other RPG Maker games that I've tested recording worked just fine. Anyone have any thoughts on why this one wouldn't let me record it?

Thanks for playing and taking the time to review our game, and that awesome score, too! :kaojoy:
Exactly, we wanted to go for a funny game that favors exploration with a lot of amusing details, mechanics and secrets for the players to find out as they progress through the game. A nod to all those 8/16-bit RPGs, especially Dragon Quest (as you remarked).
We know the story isn't the strong point of the game, but later on in the game the underlying story becomes more apparent, adding more depth to the characters' backstory. Plus, the more characters you meet, the funnier the game gets. :)

    That's a very good idea.
If you had trouble recording the game, try changing the video mode options by pressing F5. ^^
Oh, by the way, I don't mean to be nit-picky or anything, but it's Monigote. :p
It's Spanish for "paper doll". :guffaw:

Thanks again for your review! ^^

Ah, Monigote. Sorry about that. I must have been misreading the title. And thanks for the recording tip. I'll give that a try.

And speaking of recording, here's my first video Let's Play review, featuring The Chains That Bound Me!

@CuddleFox Thanks! It's on my queue.

Here's the latest video on Fields of Fire!

@Tw0Face did a great job on game design. My playthrough does it justice, but you'll still be able to see what the game has to offer.
