I am trying to making two guards look like they are sparring in a training hall.
I instructed them to step forward twice one, a 'bump' sound plays and they jump back one step, walk back one step and repeat. Their direction they go is mirrored and I am trying to make it look like they and bumping into eachother, but they're not following their instructions.

They just move forward until they hit something. Then they stop.

I've tried putting both instructions in one event and separating the guard instructions into the two events.

They're on parallel process

Even if thier move route is just ;

Move Right

Move Left

They move right until they hit something.

I've probably messed up somewhere simple so I'd appreciate the help. (I've only have RPG Maker a few days but all the other move routes I've done worked...)

I'd be happy to provide screenshots if that would help.

Yes, if an event hits something it can't walk through, it will stop moving.

You don't need them to be on a parallel process if you are using an Autonomous Move Route.

The only thing you can do is set them both to THROUGH, but that would also mean the player or other NPCs on random move routes could move through them.

Please post screenshots of your controlling event. Make sure you show the whole window, not just the movement commands.

I've got good news and bad news. The good news is, there aren't any bad news to report. The bad news is, there aren't any good news to report.

Or as others say, yesterday was uneventful.

I am curious that can you "understand/get the point" about what does this place do generally?

After 'multiple breakdowns', it's finally over. 10/10 will do this again.
Ever notice that villains can reform and become better people, but heroes can only ever die... or live long enough to see themselves become villains?

Isn't that interesting?
