I recently succeeded into making a parallax map with the standard map size (the size of the game: 816 x 624).

Is it possible to make a bigger parallax map then that without having to change the size of your game?

Because when I do that, the events are not in the place they are supposed to be (I made a map of 20 by 20, saved the picture on 48 x 20 = 960 by 960. In the editor, it looks fine, but whenever I test it, the events are all scattered over the place and the top layer isn't where it's supposed to be as well.)

I made a background of the whole image and a top layer with trees and roofs and such.

Am I doing something obvious wrong?

(sorry for my English, it's not my native language)

The size of your parallax image should be the same size as the map itself.

So you just do both sides of the map x 48 (for the pixels) and you're done? Hm...

I tried that, and something's not working....

I think it has something to do with the layers. I have a top layer for the trees, and a parallax background.

Do you have to make a bottom layer too? And bind it to your map?

Oh wait, I already solved the problem myself xD...

I had to make a bottom layer and put it below the characters for the thing to work! Anyway, thanks.

Don't forget, aspiring writers: Personality isn't what your characters do, it is WHY they do it.
Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
Sadly I don't know how that would be possible so I would be needing help! If you can help me in any way I would really apreciate it!
