Hi, everyone out there in the RPG Maker world its very nice to meet you.

My name is Lauren and I recently bought RPG Maker from the Steam sale and I'm exited to make some games. I'm an artist before a video game creator, but after trying different kinds of media to bring my work to life I have reached here, the lovely world of RPG maker. Which works great because I really love to play RPG games. My art is in the style of anime making it work great with the colorful tiled maps of the RPG realm which has made me very exited to work with the software. I have some experience with programming but trying to learn the variables right now. 

 I have surfed thought the forums here and it is really nice, I'm very happy to be a part of this community. I'm not only new to this forum but I am fairly new to forums in general so, I hope to have help with that as well if possible. Also I am currently developing my game "Melody of the Last Canary" and I'm enjoying it allot, but I hope to have the opportunity to work with other creators and possibly create face graphics and such.

Well, Its very nice to meet you all and I hope to be more active soon with the community.

Thanks my game is based on a comic book I was thinking about making but I adapted it to work with an RPG, its about a girl named Victoria who is the last of the Canary Feather, feather being the species of bird that a person's spirit represents, but its based on a person's region of birth or parents rather than based on personality. Victoria aims to rebuild the kingdom she lost many years ago by traveling from kingdom to kingdom gaining trust and alliances and the person you play is a mystery to you as much as it is to the other characters, so you slowly learn more about yourself/ person your playing as which is an aspect I'm hoping to really play on. In this story there is a bit of legend involving a phoenix which I'm figuring out how to slowly bring in as the story progresses because it will play a big role. There is allot of back story and allot of other aspects involved, but I hope that gives a basic idea of what it is sorry if I didn't describe it very well. Also thanks so much for commenting.
