ok 1st i want to make a night city like in ff9 that everytime i enter the night it will be night only on that town

2nd im making a quest where i enter the certain forest/map and only in that certain forest/map it will be night but only on one mission so if i finish the mission on that map and get out there

its going back to normal again..

i know there's a night and day cycle to use on common event and set it on parallel process but it's a cycle for every map so thats not what im looking for

If it was just one map, I'd either just use a screen tint and have events do different things (like not be there at all for some NPCs) if the "night" switch is turned on. Or have two maps - one for day, one for night - which also then means two lots of each interior, or making the interiors slightly different depending on whether it's day or night, and having them go to the correct map when you exit the building.

yeah what i tried is put an event on that map with screen tint and trigger it on parallel, but im finding out how to go back to day when i finish some mission in that map

Put a switch on your event page to indicate whether it's night or not. When it changes from day to night, turn the switch on. When it changes from night to day, turn the switch off. Don't have that switch linked with ANY of your quests - just use it for the day/night system.

Make sure you use Erase Event after the screen tint - a parallel process will loop continuously while the conditions are met, but you don't need to loop a screen tint - it only needs to happen once, each time you enter the map.

This is what your event will look like:

When you want it to be night time, you turn the switch on. When you want it to be day time, you turn the switch off. This needs to happen on another map.

If you want it to switch between day and night while you're on the current map, you would use the same tint screen command (use the Night setting in the command to make it night time, and use the Normal setting to make it day time), but you would make it take longer (not 1/60th of a second) and put it in the event that causes the change between day and night.

No worries. You don't need to quote someone when you're replying to them, right after their post. And if you do quote them, remove any unnecessary stuff from the quote (like the screen print that takes a heap of space and doesn't need to be shown twice).

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:
Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
