Night time effects?

There's a scene in this game that I'm working on where the characters are indoors but its at night and I'm not sure how to make it look like its at night. I'm talking about how it looked in things like in Hello? Hell...o? (the picture below)

Also, if you know how to have that glow effect going on with those candle's please share because I would also like to incorporate that as well..

What are you using at the moment? An overlay? Because I guess you can use scripts to add some lighting effects in there. Maybe you're talking about the fact that it's too dark around the edges to look like the inside of a house that's dark? What exactly about the image bothers you, so we can know what we're trying to fix?

Don't worry, I got help. I just used some screen tinting and an event. And it was a lot easier than doing anything in the script.
