Alright so I have been using this program for a month or so but never really needed night-time. I just started working on a new game and I need to know how you start it at night. I don't need a day-night cycle or anything like that, I just need the moment you get in the game to be at night and I have absolutely no idea how to do that.
Help would be much appreciated.

You can use the Tint Screen event command to change the overall colour to achieve a night feel.

If you place an event like this on the map it will autorun on load to tint the screen, then erase itself.

The tint settings shown are just the default when you click the night button, you can play around with those values until it works for you. Light levels are typically low at night time and when it's dark we stop seeing colour as well, so turning up the gray value is a good start. I'd also recommend not taking Red, Green, or Blue above 0 as that will start to mess with the black value of the scene.

OMG Y'all. I found an alternate Google Drive I 100% forgot I had. All my crusty old game files from 2014 (when I signed up) are in there. When I like...maybe actually make a prototype thread it's gonna be so much fun taking everyone down my memory lane.
