Check your spam filters. Another person with a Yahoo email address told me this as well.

No problems on my end, using Gmail.

I've had the same problem for a while, I use hotmail for my emails and it's definitely not going straight to spam.  I've tried turning the notifications off and on again too.

Hotmail black listed us for some reason awhile ago. Are you still not getting emails now that we switched servers (and have a new IP)? If so then they literally blocked this sub domain. Thanks, Microsoft.

No notifications are making it to the spam filter either,

I use Yahoo and is there anyway to fix this?

Damn... yeah just tested it again to make sure and there's been no change.  Not sure why Microsoft would do something like that though, seems very odd.

Heya. I've been wondering about the same thing. It started for me since yesterday. I'm using a Yahoo email address too and there doesn't seem to be anything in spam folder either.

Ah... so that's why I stopped getting emails from here...

Mine stopped two days ago, it's a mail.com account.

I'm guessing Microsoft did that because I still don't get updates even after the server switch.

I've always had them in the past without any problems and like everyone else, mine just stopped a couple of days ago.

That explains why I haven't got a confirmation email.

Good thing I had Gmail up and running.

Same here, and I can only use my Hotmail account because with gmail I keep forgetting my password, and google expects me to remember when I created the account which is annoying. I really hope Hotmail unblocks this site, because that is not fair to people who have no choice, but to use Hotmail.

It's not just Hotmail, though.  I use a yahoo account for this site and it's that one which has stopped receiving notifications when it was fine before.

So I had no luck with mail.com, outlook.com or even my personal domain! I've now set up a gmail account which at least received the re-activate email so I should be good to go.

I just created a Yahoo account and tested a registration and got the email just fine.

As for Hotmail/Outlook users... Sorry, I've filled out the form to Microsoft to remove the needless blacklist.. Their support takes forever and whenever I get any response it's generic and completely unhelpful. I'll keep trying though... But I might have to reject registrations trying to use hotmail/outlook addresses if they don't remove the block.

Nathanial, as someone who uses a hotmail account, I would like to request that you reconsider rejecting registrations from hotmail/outlook users. I haven't found the lack of email notifications particularly handicapping, except maybe when it comes to support requests.

I'm not sure about anyone else, but I personally dislike keeping more email accounts than absolutely necessary.

Creating a fresh email account just to join a website or forum certainly doesn't top my list of priorities.

If Hotmail rejects emails from us there's no way for people to confirm registration via registration emails... hence I would reject registrations so people don't email me asking why they haven't gotten a confirmation email.

At the end of the day, it's unfortunate, but there's only so much I can do. For some reason Hotmail decided to block our forum... and they have to take the action to remove it. If their interns don't want to read my emails created filling out their unblock form... Well.

I received a few notification emails in my Hotmail\Outlook junk mail inbox today. Not sure how long it will last.

Update: Just got another one, this time in my normal inbox, notifying me that Susan has liked one of my posts. :)

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such?
