No 'New Game'?

I want to do a thing where the player can't create a 'new game'. I have an idea so they can keep playing, but they're still affected by what they did in the past. It'll take a while but I just wanted this to be made- so they can't just 'restart' so simply. If anyone could make it so that you can only 'start' the game at the very beginning, and from there load the saves only, Just wondering... thanks to anyone who will try this.


I was inspired by the fact that in Undertale, once you completed a Geno route you would be affected by it in all subsequent playthroughs, unless you found and deleted the files. Right? But since I didn't want that to be an option I'm just going to make it so that you talk to a certain character to make a 'new game', when in reality it's just a copy of the original with a few changes. So...


Sorry if this sounded weird I'm not very good at talking to anyone, even over the computer TT-TT

Hi there! Welcome to the forum.

• First you want a global data plugin (it's everywhere on forum  )
  
• Second you want a skip title screen. (Which is provided by default in RMMV dlc folder if you use steam.)
  

What you can do is that with Global Data, it will check if the player already did something. (It can be switches or variables, that depends on you)


Then if something exists, just use a script call and put SceneManager.push(Scene_Load);
