The order of the Knights of belial  are working on a weapon of mass destruction called Nocturnus. The weapon has the ability to destroy entire cities by using the negative energy it drains from its victims. The intrepid order Of the Solus Knights, an Order opposed to the Knights of belial are sending in a team into the secret lab in order to stop the creation of the weapon and cripple their enemies in order to save Obscura city from impending doom.

Thank you guys, I was afraid our game wasn't gonna cut it I was kinda nervous.

I played your game, so first of all congrats on finishing!    But I'm pretty confused.  There's no intro, so I'm thrown into a world that I don't know or understand.  I don't know who any of these people in the party are, and so I don't have a connection to them.  Who are they, why should I care that they're in this building full of enemy robots?  Something to tell me why I'm here and who the party is would be really, really helpful.  I also don't quite understand why there are all these teleporters in the building.  There doesn't seem to be any real rhyme or reason to them, so I'm not sure why you didn't just make them all rooms connected by hallways.  I found the end of the game on accident, by running around.  There wasn't anything pointing me in the right direction and most of the time I was kind of annoyed that I had no idea where I was.


The battles weren't difficult, but I did have it on the normal difficulty so maybe the higher difficulties require more than just spamming attack?  The only real issue I had with the battles is that you renamed MP to TP, but I didn't realize that until I was almost out.  I know you can 'Focus' to get it back, but since it was named TP I thought it was the normal rpg maker TP and so I wasn't sure why it wasn't filling as I fought.


The hacking mini-game could have been really interesting, but it was hampered by the flame's AI.  It was supposed to follow me, but sometimes it didn't and or followed me and then refused to go in between the pylons, so I was left yelling at it and running back and forth hoping it would move correctly (they just wouldn't cooperate  ).  If they were a little smarter or easier to control I think this could be a cool mini-game, but right now it's not very fun.


It seems like this is the beginning of a bigger game, and unfortunately it just doesn't make me really curious about the rest of the story.  There are quite a few spelling errors (the 'seringe' items are supposed to be syringes I'm guessing?), and some tile passability issues so it may be a good idea to go over it with a fine-tooth comb.

Hello Artist here of the team, here to announce something!

Anima told me we are going to go ahead and better up the game thanks to your review @hiddenoneenone!  Plus we will be going through our plan to make it episodic we have already begun work on the next chapter, but now that we see and understand the flaws we failed to see we will gladly go back an fix it up.

This will not be done it time for the contest though D: So until then I will have to cancel this thread.
