So I've been working on a game which has a custom made battle system. I do not know how to script, so making an enemy hud is turning into a challenge for me. I've tried with pictures and it hasn't worked at all. Does anyone know of a way i can make a simple enemy hud hp bar that is equal to a variable. And if possible, for that variable not to be equal in percentages, but in numbers. The picture attached is an example of what i'm aiming for. I don't need the text, i just need the bar.

Thank you, any advice would help.

Make a variable, call it whatever you want, then make it so that whenever your player attacks, you add a certain amount to the variable depending on how strong the player is.

Then, when the variable reaches a certain amount, which would be the amount of health your enemy has, turn on a self switch with your "enemy defeated" scene. To do the actual health bar, you make your pictures of each stage of the health bar, however many stages you want there to be, and then you would divide the info stored in that variable by the amount of stages there are, minus the empty stage. Then you set up a conditional branch for each stage, with a show picture command in each one. (I had done something like this for my own game, but for the player. I had to delete it though because I decided to use a different way, so I can't give you a screenshot).

Yay, now back in action Happy Christmas time, coming back!

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
