Add the "load" menu keyword to the Menu List parameter.

I saw there is a way to use a background image, but is it possible to remove the standard menu and instead use a custom image?

Could you draw an example of what you mean by removing the standard menu? The background image parameter lets you set a custom image to use as a background for your menu, and doesn't change how the menu itself looks.

The first one is a picture displaying the menu with a background image.
The second one is what I intend to do by changing the layout of the standard menu.

@Goo Could you try this plugin edit? Sets windowskin opacity to 0 for non-combat menu. Parameter request isn't ready.
