(My first time posting to the forums so please forgive me if I've posted wrong or there are errors in the post setup :hswt:)

I recall finding a solution out there long ago, but have been unable to find it since. Very sorry if a fix to this was already posted.

I'm using RPG Maker VXA and a Script called "Window Hex" by some Anonymous guy. I'm running in 640x640
Original Forum Post--> https://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?threads/fullscreen-high-resolution.32410/

My Problem: The script works just fine as long as I keep some resolution ratios intact, but the black fading between screens is cut off at the bottom; ONLY the bottom. I have the same issue with Kha's Awesome Lighting script, but in that case only a tiny bit of the screen below is cutoff.

^^This cutoff only happens when transferring to a new location where the screen fades to black, otherwise the game displays properly.

^^This is the issue I had before and can't find/or remember the solution.
(If the attached pictures are giving you a "You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action." then please grab the included zip file)
===================================================
I have made sure my screen fade image is sized properly (640x640). I've even tried over-sizing it, but it doesn't help.

Scripts I suspect are involved:
The Resolution script mentioned earlier.
Khas Awesome Lighting

Maybe this custom fade script by "KilloZapit" as well
https://www.rpgmakercentral.com/topic/32575-fancy-pants-crossfade-script/

I've posted this thread in the RGSSx Script Support section because I suspect it is a compatibility issue with or an oversight of mine on one of these scripts that is giving me graphical issues.
Any help, insight, or pointing me in the right direction would be very much appreciated.:kaoswt:

Thank you for pointing me toward this thread Roninator!

Alright, so Hime's script caused more problems than it fixed.
- The fade covered the whole screen :thumbsup-right:Nice
- But then I got "Stack level too deep" errors when traveling between maps, despite looking carefully through my script list for duplicates. I deleted a few scripts which potentially did something the same as Hime's as well but still the error.
- The "fade" image didn't fade right anymore. The white part of the image which was clear before is now just... white. Instead of crossfading the black and white image, it just kinda flashes there for a second and bam! I'm in the new map with no real transition.
===============================================================
What I was able to do is just have a normal fade, with the script provided by KK20, PLUS an extra untitled script given by a guy called "Jet" from this thread: https://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?threads/max-resolution-breaker.19336/page-2
With both of those, I can have a standard fade that covers the whole screen and doesn't look weird. A bit sad that I may have to give up the fancy cross fade but such is rpgmaker life. (I'll still look about for something tho)

So yea, one problem solved aside from the loss of the fancy cross fade. (If there is a solution to keep it, I'm still game of course)
The only problem that none of these fixed is that tiny sliver of no darkness from Khas Awesome Lighting.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
