So I've owned my physical copy of RPG Maker VXAce for over a year now (1 year + several months, getting close to 2 years). And I recently learned that Steam has a copy of the same product, and even deals with the various Resource Packs as "DLC." Well, I figured out that Steam lets you register Non-Steam games onto your account, and after a quick check, I was able to register my copy of Ace on there.
Now, here's my question: Before when I tried to put Resource Packs into my Shopping Cart, it said that an error occurred (because you can only purchase them if you own a copy on Steam) but after registering my copy, it let me add Resource Packs to my Shopping Cart. So does this mean that I will be able to use those resource packs with my copy now, or did I stumble upon a glitch in the Steam's Account system? I don't want to purchase anything until I am sure that I won't cause any problems/crashes with my game, and that I can actually use the product once purchased. Is there anyone who knows the answer to this? Thank you in advance! ^owo
