Every time I try to run this program I get message that my screen resolution is wrong. I have been getting this problem for 4 years now. In that time, I have tried several different versions of your RPG Makers and none of them will run. Can someone please help with this, I have been delayed four years on something I had planned to be made now.

I am aware of the possiblilty of switching screen resolutions - I did that on my older laptop but it ruined it. Is there no way to make it work on mine without risk of damage?

Changing your screen resolution does not damage your computer, it is a builtin function. The monitor needs to support the resolution you're trying to set it to use, but otherwise there should be no problem.

What resolution are you using right now?

How did you change the resolution on your old laptop

Each version states a minimum required resolution.  Apparently yours is too low.  I also highly doubt that increasing your resolution "ruined [your computer]".  That's just silly.  You can only alter your resolution so much, but doing so via software is artificial.  You cannot increase the number of pixels in your display.

If you had a really old laptop (minimum of 15 years old, probably 20 years) then it might have been damaged by switching to a higher resolution, but today's monitors have better electronics and automatically go into shutdown to prevent damage, and the computer's have checks to revert to the old solution if the new one isn't confirmed. There is no way you can damage a modern computer by changing resolution.

That said, we need to know which windows you're running and what resolution your monitor has to tell you how to solve this.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
