You can always make a spare map with standard background (the black tile) and teleport the player there![]()
I think they meant start the fade out then transfer player to map with all blackness then fade in. It wouldn't work exactly how you want but pretty close.But doing so wouldn't be a fade out. Everything would simply turn black instantly. Or is there any way to make a map crossfade into another?
