    Hey Lecode,

    thanks for this nice Script. I use it with Gameus' Quest System to show the reward gained from completed quests. It works for items and gold but not for exp. I look at both Scripts but i can't find the problem.

    nice work, but there's something wrong while the actor gets more than one items (items, weapons and armors), in this case it will only show up the last item.

    It's something I do wrong, or should I use Notification Position value command to reorder the notifications' ?

    strange... I'll take a look. 

    Yep I know why... Only golds and items will be display, armors or weapons are not. 

    I've checked that I use 1.1 version of this script. 

    So can I make a request for that? It's a nice work, thanks.

    Weapons and armors are displayed. (Hache = axe, bouclier = shield)

    Nice plugin.  One thing I've noticed is that even when I set one of the settings, like notifying when a background music is playing, to false, it still sends out a notification.

    Well I know the reason...

    I should put this plugin UNDER YEP_ItemCore. There must be something overwrites, I guess. After this option everything works great.

    I've downloaded the latest version just now, and still get the undefined error with Yanfly item core. It is placed right underneath the yanfly plugin. I'm not sure what i'm doing wrong?

    Curiously, it works if i put it above yanfly's item core...

    But then it, as described by a previous poster, does not notify of gear.

    @tsunetakaryu: It was written inside the How to use paragraph...

    @RedAkerston: That's strange. I'm using it under YEP_ItemCore and I don't get that issue.

    Show me a screenshot of your plugin list; perhaps there is an incompatibility with another plugin.

    Well, it wasn't clear but make sur to set false without quotation marks.

    OK, it works now. I was using the release version of Yanfly's ItemCore, and he is now up to version 1.08.

    Downloading the latest version of his core fixed it, so the issue is in something that was altered between the older version of the ItemCore and the newer version.

    I was thinking about writing something just like this the other day when I came across your plugin! Thanks for writing this, it's fantastic!

    I've edited your script to add a plugin command to change the background color. It's the only thing I need so far that you didn't have included automatically.

    Here's the added lines:

    I plan to improve the features in the next version.

    To begin, I'll use the Window class instead of Sprite in order to handle escape codes, icons, colors, backgroundOpacity,

    contentsOpacity and ect.

    I love this!, but I would like to disable some part of the functionality, is that possible?

    For example, I want to show item obtain, but not item loss and level up text.

    Set them to false. It's explained in the parameters interface.

    I ran into a minor bug that was causing an empty notification to be displayed. If the gain/lose gold function is called and the amount is 0 you get an empty notification. Below is the fix I made to my local copy.

    I planned to add this feature with some others a long time ago but I didn't have enough time.

    I'm using some modifications:


    Added a new parameter for text limit (I set it to 40 characters) so before displaying the notification, the plugin fill the text with white space to the right of the original text (plugin command too, in case it's needed).


    Changed the notification sound parameter to "custom sound" which plays only on script call, also added a custom sound parameter for each gold, item, level and delevel notifications, with option for disablind each.


    A little fix at plugin command for italic font:


    pFontItalic = ((parameters['Font Italic ?'] || 'false') === 'true');




    And one question: what about terms of use? (sorry if i didn't see it)


    Edit: I didn't show the code because it was a good amount of changes, would be easier to post it entirelly,but i dont know if i can
