If you are talking about customizing the word 'talk' to another word you change the word in the Plugin Parameters called "Common Event Name" to what you want, example 'Rumor'

If you are asking about making different things happen when you click on the 'talk' section. You just switch out the common event that is called inside your Event.
So if you want another Common Event to run when you click on the button, example a Did You Know Dialogue. You replace the Common Event: Rumor Dialogue part with that Common Event instead

Here's the example of how the event looks in an event.

I am referring to how to insert a dialogue on the "talk" section. although I have entered the event as indicated, once inside the shop I use the "talk" section, the shop closes.

@yeye on est la you can either alter the params or plugin inside
to move the window_message up or use SRD_SupertoolsEngine
to move it freely, adjust width/height etc.

it's a easy way to move each window around if it's open.
I did that too.

The image is just not working for me. I've set up the variable and tried many different numbers.

I want my picture to fill up all of the empty space, using this placeholder image for now. 1677737458329.png. I have it saved as a PNG in the pictures folder, which the is what I've selected for the shopkeeper in the array, but it just doesn't show up in game.

That may be very hard to do anything about.
1 - the animated pictures is a paid plugin, so only other people who have purchased it could look at its code to see what's going on

2 - I haven't looked at this one specifically, but Olivia tends to obfuscate the code in her plugins, which means even if someone else bought it they couldn't read the plugin to do any troubleshooting.

@furple the plugin wont really work, if you want it animate it for the shop,
you need either impliment that (which is doable) or event the shop otherwise.

Hi, I hope I'm not disturbing. Could you help me? I try to place in my game "NPC Dialogue Shop". I have seen your examples. I have tried to put it in my game, but the plugin is not activated or I must be doing something wrong. I'm really bad at this, could you help me? Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi, I am trying to use this plugin but it does not appear to work at all for me, I have scoured through the entire forum post trying to find an answer to solve this but it I couldn't find one. Does anyone know why?

@Cheeseblaster your switch 5 = OFF while your common event have a switch!
it needs a switch attached to be called while it turned off when calling it and run
the common event.

also, you cut off your event page, but dont show the ingame to see what doesn't
work as well.

avoid cutting off event pages as we need it entirely compleet to see the issue,
from switch/variable, priority, trigger etc which is important to see the cause
if there is any, not just bits.

Looks like this, I can't seem to figure out why it isn't working. I saw earlier that the file name for the plugin might have needed to be a specific name, but I can't figure out what it is.

plugin name must be called: NPCDialogueShop
otherwise the parameters arent readed, if its still not working,
browse the pages between 2-4 I believe which had the same,
you might find the answer there, else it should be working.

if not, can you screenshot your plugin database?
