Npc issues

I swear i'm annoying. i'm sorry, but for some reason i'm trying to add an npc to my party. I know how to do that. problem is....anything i try or look into that maybe i messed up, i begin the game with the npc already in my party. but if i remove him from the actor menu, i cannot add him to my party and he disappears from the location the event was even suppose to occur.


I just want him to not be in my party at the beginning of the game. I've tried everything. Oh and yes i've used the change party member command. Please tell me what i'm doing wrong.





P.S. Page 2 is only for the self switch A. it has nothing there.

The Actor page needs to contain EVERYONE who will join your party at any time through the game.  It's got nothing to do with your starting party members.


On the System tab you'll see where you set up your starting party.  If you don't want an actor to be there at the start, this is where you need to remove them.


When you want to show us your events, please use Alt + PrintScreen.  It will capture the whole event window, which gives us the details we're likely to want to see, without grabbing your entire desktop, which results in the important (event) window being smaller and harder to read.

  Top left, where it says Starting Party.


Delete the question marks - not sure if you've just put ? as the actor names in the Actors tab, or if you've actually deleted the actors that were there and the engine is putting ? because it can't see them anymore.


And if you don't want Tyler in the party at the start, delete him from that box too.
