Okay so what I'm trying to do is pretty simple, at least I thought it was. You talk to this lady who is crying by a tombstone and she is just talking to herself, not really acknowledging you. And when you speak to her again she makes a remark about not seeing you there before and quickly retreats back into her house which is right next door to the Grave. I have all of it done EXCEPT the part where she leaves. I can't seem to figure out how to make her leave the map. I know how to make an NPC move around, but I need the player to not be able to move until the actions are completed so I have a "Set Movement Route" event in place so she'll move and all that jazz but she won't move and it just freezes the player.

I hope I explained this well, and posted it to the right place this time.

An npc is an event, and an event cannot move maps, I think. What you want to do is make the lady walk up to the door, and then remove the event. Have another event inside the house that looks the same, and progress with your story.

PS. Do not use erase event to remove your event, as it will respawn the next time you enter the map if you do that.

When you have the event go up to the door, you can even go a little fancy and have her open the door, set her to through, have a self switch switch her to a blank version, and have the door close.

With her on 'through', you can use the door as normal and talk to her inside, and when you leave, she won't be outside.

To clarify a little what Diretooth said, after the move route, turn on a self-switch. Create a page after that, with the condition set to the same self-switch and no graphic. This is the standard way to make events "disappear" from the map. The event is still there but can't be seen, and unless you change some other setting besides the self-switch condition, will not interfere with the player.

Sorry, I didn't explain well enough, I know how to do all that. The problem I'm having is I am not sure how to make it so that after she is done moving it'll activate the self switch and she will no longer be "on the map" according to the players view. I need it so that the events wont take place until AFTER she runs up to the door. and when I try to just make the "Set movement path" event instead of the custom route she just won't move at all. When I think I've set it all up I'll test run it and she wont go anywhere, she'll just stand there and my character will be unable to move.

Then you made a mistake somewhere, and we need screenshots of your event pages to find your mistake - because sequencing events like that is usually very simple.

Are these the only pages of the event? Where is Self-Switch C turned on?

@Brellelasouls Please don't cut off parts of the windows - in this case you have cut off one of the most important parts for event logic, the page numbering.

As for your other question: since you didn't include the "events that should occur after she's gone" and didn't include where the self-switch C is activated, then there are either pages of the same event missing or you need to use regular switches instead of self-switches to have other events conditioned on this case.
