Can anybody help me

I'm trying to create an event that add's a new character to the player's party, I can successfully create the event that adds the new character to the party but I don't know how to permanently erase it so that it can't happen more than once, I want to know how to complete the event   so that when I leave to the room the event is erased so that when I re-enter that room the event doesn't sill exist and can be triggered again. How do I make it so the event only occurs the first time I trigger it. I'm quite new to this software so I need a more detailed explanation of how do things like this.

That list was compiled by GrandmaDeb, not me. My "starting point for Beginners" is linked in my signature.

What you need is a multi-page-event.

Add a second page to the event you have so far, leave that page empty (and without sprite) but place the condition "Self-Switch A is ON" (or a different self-switch if you're already using A for something).

Then in your original event page, in the line after adding the actor to the party, you add the command "control self-switch A to ON".

If that tip doesn't help, please post a screenshot of all event pages and we'll tell you where to correct them.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
