Hello again,

I'm having trouble when creating and using NPCs at the moment...

Here's my trouble in screenshots:

As you can see, for some reason the NPC is stuck on the first frame of the stepping animation when stopped. I've been trying a couple things...I don't know how to fix this...although I feel the fix will be really obvious.

Okay I solved the problem just now. Since I'm using charsets that are 32x48 in size, maybe it has something to do with rpg maker mv figuring this out...defining something...I don't know...

The fix is:

NPCs have to start with the charset graphic selected (standing frame) to start. Then if you want it to start invisible, you have to set it's initial movement route to: "Change Graphic: None", THEN re-activate the graphic or whatever character wanted by doing "Change Graphic: <something>".

EDIT: Damn, nevermind, that doesn't work on bigger maps because the event takes a moment before it can disappear the initial graphic...stuck again. I may need to use javascript on this one I'm thinking...I don't know...

ANSWER: Never mind, stupid me I wasn't thinking, you just create a blank charset and select the middle frame, then you can change image and rpg maker mv will know that when the npc is standing still it has to use the middle frame and not the left or right (stepping) frames of the character. : p

How many parameters is 'too many'??
Yay, now back in action Happy Christmas time, coming back!

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
