So I'm a new user to rpg maker and been fooling around blindly with it for about a month now and I can't seem to get my npcs to show when transferred out of a house and hitting a event tile 4 blocks away to trigger a cut scene and some dialogue then death on player ( that works) Just when I go to put dark one on both npcs to make them disappear they reappear. Some one help my cut scene is doing the opposite of what I want it to do I don't understand! Help?

The npcs have the same page but 2 switches one for each

I'm not sure if I understand what you mean - but if you having trouble making your NPCs disappear after a cut scene is over what you might could try is adding a new page to the NPC events, make them blank - and turn that page on using a switch when the cut scene is over.  You could use the same technique to make them visible as well.  Just turn on the page that has them showing with a switch.

No no no when I get transferred out of the "Players home" to the outside of the house the 2 NPC's I created are not visible and the event starts and everything seems fine but one problem the scene I'm trying to create is a man walking up to a cloaked man stopping saying who do you think you are and him saying silence fool and casts dark one on player making him fall to the ground and then saying princess your coming with me and she says no bla bla bla then cast dark one on her and she goes away then dark one again but on evil npc and he goes away but the problem I'm having is that after the dark one's they appear. Opposite of what I'm trying to do.

By that I mean they are not visible through out the cut scene until after the dark ones

It seems like you set the switch that you want to turn the event on (A-1 which controls Jillian) at the end of the event so her graphic won't become active until after all your dialogue and animations and such. If I am guessing what you want to do right you should set a requirement for your two character events that they turn on when switch A-1 is active, then have it set so that as soon as soon as the player touches the touch event square

Switch one is turned on. After you have played out the important parts of your event turn off switch A-1 or use another switch to change to a blank event page for the character graphics (which you don't seem to have shown). Also be sure to turn off your touch event with a self-switch or the same switch you use to turn off the character graphics.

So just move the switches up to the top to show graphic and at the end of dark ones new page with switch on to make graphics go away, would that work also?

I apologize for the newbish questions

If you are trying to show the character graphics like the girl jillian and the hooded man after having them initially invisible use the control switches command at the top of the touch event to turn the switch on (A-1 it looks like)

-Then after you have played out your event and are ready to turn the character graphics off simply use the control switches command to turn off the switch you used to turn them on. Or you can use another switch to turn to a blank event page for the events for each character you no longer want showing on the screen  with a condition of when "whatever" switch is on; as this will turn them off as well,

-Finally make sure you turn off your touch event somehow such as using a self switch to turn onto a blank event page that has a condition of self switch "whatever" is on.

I apologize if I'm not explaining this well enough.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving!
