Hello everyone.

I just started my very first project and I have a couple of questions regarding the event creation.

In the game, the player controls a man. Right at the start of the game, the man's wife calls him and asks him to take a teddy bear up to the daughters room.

My question is if it's possible to create like a "quest" which you must take the object and place it somewhere in the kid's bedroom, and only if you do that you can move on.

Thank you!

You can create a event that only appears if a certain object (in this case the teddy bear) appears in your characters inventory. Make it so that after the dialogue with the wife the item is added to the inventory. If you need more detailed instructions I could make some screenshots but I do not have the rpgmaker program on the computer I am currently using.

Hi,

as a new user, I suggest you follow the link to the "starting point" in my signature and work through the tutorials. That will teach you the basics as fast as possible, and your question was a very basic one.

Thank you. I got as far as recieving the object from the wife (which isn't a teddy bear because there isn't one) but at that point I don't know how to make the option of placing the object in the room.

Thank you for your quick response!

crescom, please avoid double posting, as it is against the forum rules. You can review our forum rules here. Thank you.

If you want to answer to several people, either use multiquote (the plus button) or even better don't quote at all but reference by @username for example by @crescom

Also take the time to read our rules, as double posting isn't allowed (posting underneath yourself), just edit your previous post and you're good to go.

I'm also moving this to the RPG Maker MV support forum.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such?
