I have now debugged this issue and reason was "old" version of OcRam_Local_Coop -plugin. Project you sent got v2.07 >> I updated it to v2.08 and it fixed the problem (like described in patch notes).

Hello everybody,

I have released v2.08 2018/12/16, but for some reason it has been rolled back to v2.07? Or more likely my changes to this thread wasn't saved at all (some silent error in my browser)… :kaosigh:

I have now (2019/01/24) re-released version 2.08.

I'm really sorry for any inconvience this may have caused. :kaoswt:

Additional players (P2-P4) are always assigned in joining order.

Actually I would like to determine the X and Y coordinates where player two appears as soon as he enters the match. I do not want him to start the match next to player 1.

In theory you could do this with JS in common event on player join.

ATM I have no current plans to make this plugin compatible with any ABS (nor tactical battle systems), this plugin is designed for turn based battle system (listed 1st page of this thread).

Latest release - v2.09 (released 2019/05/02)
  • Fixed bug where P2-3 OK button (kb2) got "stuck"
  • Fixed bug where 2 x swap command in row gave "null" error
  • Support for OcRam_Lights -plugin!

Hi, I love what all you have done with this plugin. I was just wondering if you are going to implement a split-screen function so that the actor tether is unlimited on the the same map and/ or players can have menus open at the same time. (I also wanted to know if there was a demo project out for this plug-in or an faq)

I have thought about split screen (players in same map), but it is too big project for me ATM.

I'm working on my master demo which will introduce every plugin I've got and I'm hoping it's ready this summer.

I was with my friend's place playing with the multiplayer so I think we've found some new bugs related to the co op.

  • If one player that's not the main hero in the list gets incapacitated as in paralyzed or killed it jumps into the next player's already targetting an action and skipping their start turn phase.
  • Co op people are immune to floor damage
  • Would it be possible to get compability with http://yanfly.moe/2015/10/21/yep-20-event-chase-player/ ? At the moment, the chaser doesn't recognize the other players and if used for touch based fights, these don't occur with anyone but the main player
  • In the rare case that two events trigger at the exact same time; multiple people access two things like open two chests at the same time, the game freezes and doesn't response to any commands at all.

Yanfly Event chase player - I'll take a look at this

I'll start debugging these issues.

FYI: I have made changes to core turn/move away/towards player -methods so that it will target nearest PLAYER for real this time =) ...I hope this effects Yanfly event chase -plugin also, but I will test this plugin more... Also that damage floor bug is taken care of.

Hi,

After I have given serious thought about this: This might seem little thing to do, but it is quite complicated to do. I would almost compare it to split screen feature... So this has same answer with split screen feature: "it is too big project for me ATM".

And special thanks to @Tuomo L for reporting several issues in local coop plugin, which should be now fixed!

Latest release - v2.10 (released 2019/06/09)
  • Players 2-4 will also trigger damage floor!
  • Turn/move Toward/AwayFrom player methods overridden... these methods will now actually target nearest PLAYER!
  • Support for "Yanfly - Event chase player" -plugin
  • Battle phases works now properly on single player mode.
  • Some other minor bug fixes / optimizations

I need to be able to have two different players make choices at the same time (basically trigger two choice events at the same time, each one bound to a different player).

To make choices at the same is not possible by default (I think it would require multiple game interpreters and not sure how RMMV core engine likes this).
