Yeah thanks, it works. But this has also to be fixed. I am used to the decimal system in my country/language. And I don't use only RPG Maker MV :) I do also work stuff with numbers :p I still hope the fix comes soon.

This literately means your computer is too slow. What you're hearing is the audio buffer looping because the audio data isn't updating fast enough. However looking at your CPU suggests this shouldn't even be happening. Does this happen only with the USB headset plugged in?
Tried it with the headset unpugged, still happens. Been doing some trouble shooting; updated driver, reinstalled MV and rebooted. No luck so far.

Edit: I gave RPGmaker MV adimistrative privliages and now it seems to be working. Why now? I could not say.

Hello,

I would like to report a bug, but i don't know if I'm the only one who got this bug, because it seems so big that it should be already reported by someone else.

When you modify an "Ex-parameter" in "classes" (critical chance for exemple) the whole woftware just crash, always.

Previous animation frame history doesn't show. Makes creation of battle animations a pain to line up.

Is anyone else having trouble with change actor image command?  I've tried to set up different SV sprites for my actors when inflicted with a state, (In this case, posion state with a green tinted versions of their sprites.)  and tried to set up the event every way I can, but it won't change their sv sprites when inflicted with poison.

I am having the same problem as elbone in this post in that RPG Maker MV will bring up the splash screen and then crash before even actually opening. I even get the same message in the debug file, except the numbers before the WARNING are different. Only difference is I'm running Windows 8.1 and my graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce GT 640. Of the suggested solutions to the problem, the only one I haven't tried yet is the qt.conf thing suggested by KisaiTenshi here and the reason for that is that I cannot make heads or tails of the page that was linked to. This does mean that I've tried that DLL file mentioned here and that didn't help at all.

Anyone have any ideas what to do? I was really looking forward to trying this out and I don't like the idea that I may have wasted ~£60 on something that is completely unusable.

I've found two issues with the Animations creation screen.

#1.)  The "menu" sporadically pops up, seemingly on its own, whenever I'm dragging graphics with the left mouse button.  It doesn't do it every time, or every 3rd time, etc, it just seems to be at random.  As seen here



#2.)  When creating each individual frame for the actual animation, the "Paste Last" seems to be broken - unless I am doing something wrong?  I'll try my best to explain w/ the following screen shots:

Step 1 - starting on frame 18 - added "slash" graphic



Step 2:  proceed to frame 19, add "Splatter" graphics



Step 3 - Proceed to frame #20 and click "paste last" to bring over graphics from frame 19



Step 4: move the "splatter graphics" to a new location on frame 20 to give the perception of movement (from 19 to frame 20, position change, looks like it moved)



Step 5:  The bug reveals its ugly head.  After moving the images on frame 20, click back to frame 19 to see that the ones on frame 19 moved themselves as well.



For now - for animations, I just keep recreating the graphics and bouncing back & forth between frames to make sure I have them lined up --- but the "paste last" button saves soooooo much time for these long animations, I'd love to see it working.

For your Technical bug, check your tilesets passability and make sure the ceiling has an X and not an O.  Plus, you'd need a wall anyway since it doesn't look right from the players perspective.

I'm wondering if it's a bug.


No, you have to utilize Shift-Click mapping to make that look right. There's plenty of tutorials on how to do that on the forums and even on YouTube.

Hello. So, I've run into a snag of some sorts. Whenever the player talks to a moving NPC, the NPC keeps on moving instead of staying in place until the conversation/event list is done.

I turned off all the plugins one-by-one, then turned them all of at once to see if they were conflicting, but even with every plugin turned off, the problem persists. 

Here's a pic of the event.

Even made a brand new project from scratch, and it was doing the same thing.

@Xumma87 - I see you have a lot of floor tiles with O passability, what about the ones with those arrows on them?

there seems to be an occasional (very occasional) bug that occurs as follows:

Plugin A Is a core plugin

Plugin B requires plugin A and throws an error and does not run the plugin code without plugin A being available.

The issue is:

Plugin B does not detect plugin A, and thus, plugin B does not work.

I suspect this is something to do with loading plugins asynchronously, but I havent looked into it further?

Also - havent read through the whole thread, so if this is already mentioned, apologies ^_^

I can't use database in rmmv...

Ok so the problem is

when i open rmmv and open database it open perfectly without and problem but when i click on the side buttons(like classes, common events and more) its not open and only vewing the actors tap idk if its a bug or i delete any file

also the size of the database and also the character tap is too larger i have to move it from one place to anothe my screen size is 1024*768

plz help and sorry for my bad english!

rpg maker mv crashes each time i'm trying to modifiy a trait or add one, i also have another problem : i can't change the percentages (some are set to 1000% by default), same thing MV is crashing. i've tried both the degica version and the steam version, same problem,

so for me, as it is right now rpg maker mv is very unstable and unusable, i'm using rpg maker mv on window7 64 bits with 16 Gos of ram and the latest drivers, i had no problems with my VX ace Version on the same machine

there are english subtitles in this video to details each steps, coz the is no soundf in the video

I'm using and testing the Trial.

And i think i saw rather odd about the Map List. (The bottom area where the tilesets are.)

I'm not really bothered by it except the lag in the test and editor. And maybe someone already post about this and i just didn't read the past posts here. Someone should test this too if i'm the only one who's occuring this.

So here,

I load two big sample maps. (ie. world map 1 and world map 2)

Whenever i switch with those two maps while the mouse is current busy(sometimes even not, just switching with them), the menu context will show.

Sometimes it won't show, sometimes show.

I hope it's just my mouse so it won't add this into your current problems..

(Also updated my drivers but didn't do anything about the lag...)

When I press ctrl+shift+1 (one), the editor freezes for some reason.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
