Not sure if this is mentioned before, but balloon's don't work, I gave a event a zzz Balloon, but all i got is a blank balloon, checked the folder and it has the ZZZ balloon. heres a pic : http://prntscr.com/8vsfwx I am using the default Balloon file.

This is a different than how you described it earlier. In this case it appears that the tint/flash effect doesn't extend past the visible canvas. 
Aha -well, correct terminology makes a difference (thanks for providing it!) =D Before, I was using the black to illustrate the visible canvas, and the red to represent the area outside of the visible canvas that you see while the screen is shaking.

But anyway, that explains my issue perfectly. Thank you!

When I create an armor and I want it to give the player Evasion+10% for example,the rpg maker pause when I enter the number  and does not respond anymore.I am forced to ctrl-alt-delete.

I'm not sure what is causing this.

I made a map and decided i didn't want that map anymore.

 
 I deleted that map.

Then get a "windows has encountered an error" message.

So i tried to delete other maps to see if that was the whole issue.

The other map was deleted just fine.

If it isn't working, you could put it to the top and rename it something like "DO NOT USE: GLITCHED MAP",

Loading a big soundfile seems to crash the soundtest backend:


How to reproduce:


Add a big soundfile (in my case 22mb) to a project


Try to play it in soundtest


Was it does:


No sound is played,


After wards the soundtest doesn't play any sounds anymore at all till the maker is restarted


What does work regardless:


Ingame the file is played with no problem after a short loading time

I hit what is a type of Black Box issue. Above the enemy in a fight you get what you will see in the picture. And no it isn't an icon from your sheet. It's hard to explain, but after completely redoing my icon sheet, I got it fixed.

How the issue happened:

I placed my own custom icon sheet in file. (Yes, first place was blank and no black box icon anywhere.)

Yup, I was confused.

How I fixed it:

Deleted mine from the game file, opened gimp and set my grid to 32 x 32 and made sure every single icon was in the right

spot. Deleted the white background from 3 icons I didn't realize had it. Then simply placed it back into the game file and black boxes

are now gone.

Simple:

Not sure what caused it or fixed it, but here is what happened and what I did. Hope this helps.

(Note: I fixed my issue without saving an image, this is from another person on here with the same issue and yes I messaged them to let them know I fixed the issue and if there is anything I can do to help let me know.)

Grave accent Change Language bug for Thai Language.

I crash all time when i use "~" for change language from english to thai

but i can change from thai to english.

I too, am noticing lag when placing tiles. My computer's not great, but Ace didn't lag.
It's the most noticable when you're filling a large area.

Ermm... So yesterday's patch fixed my lag when moving the window around on my desktop, but today's seems to have brought it back.  ;_;

Evented two tile doors are appearing beneath tile c elements (second layer, I guess).


Am I just not doing it right? I Tried several things.

Got that one ^^ on windows export attempt.  The project in question was created on the 25th, so I am not sure if a fix for this is here or what. :p

Any help would be nice, this project is for the good v evil thing - so im extremely limited with time :/

I have the same problem. If you find the solution or find myself, we contact to fix it.

They are not included in the generator files.

The generator makes the base male or female without clothes, accessories, etc. by using other graphics files instead of these.

I checked all the generator files last night.

(Edited to remove download link because file requires you to click a user agreement to get link)

I would recommend you put the link to them in a pinned topic.

they're in the generator folder I'm pretty sure.

Hello, Im not sure if this is a bug or intended but, if I make a Event like this:

Wait 60 Frames

Fadeout BGM 10 Seconds

Wait 60 Frames

Play BGM "Selected BGM"

Event on Autorun

(if I do this without the first Wait, I cant hear any music)

Now when I start I can hear my first BGM play for abit over 1 second before the new BGM starts, is this suppose to happen?

This is a minor bug I encountered regarding to the context menu in RPG Maker MV.

In Event Mode, when you right-click at the map you'll see the context menu. When you press left-click at Quick Event Creation or Set Starting Position, the context menu disappears.



I tried the doing same thing with RPG Maker VX Ace but it doesn't disappear.

They can't because there is a click-through license to download it. And as I said, those files are exactly the same as the ones in the generator. The ones in the zip file are spread across the male/female SV and TV folders.

Next time, please make a new topic for problems - this topic is to collect bugs and not to ask support questions.
Yes, this is the correct sequence, because you ordered the event to play a new BGM after a wait of one second only (1 second = 60 frames)

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
