ok new problem with intro scene

ok now I have gotten a little farther but I'm running into another problem.

My char walks to the item shop goes in and talks to the girl obtains items then walks out but when I put more move commands in the original move event it doesn't work. It just moves the hero when he goes in the shop. Now I could just make a copy of the map and start a new move event on it but that seems cluttered. can I make a whole new move even on the first map or is there a way to make it work inside the first event?

screenshots of the event please, as your description doesn't make sense.

A gues on what you might be trying to do:

an autoplay needs to be disabled by a switch to an empty page to prevent it from looping. But if you place commands after the switch commands, they don't get executed because the event already switched to the other page.

As a general advice: one cutscene (where the player never gains control at all) should be inside one event.

If you want the player to temporarily gain control, sometimes it might need another event - but usually you add pages to one event, conditioning them to the different parts of the cutscene.

I think you may have answered my question I can switch it to a new page and then start a new set move route. brb I'm gonna see what happens.

ok no that didn't work do you remember the last thread where I had the hero walk from one house to the item shop walk in walk up to the counter talk to the girl then walk out of the shop once I get there I'm not sure how to get the move route to continue to move the hero I tried adding a new page to the first move route command and the adding self switch b to the end then adding another empty page with self switch b condition turned on but nothing happens.

I am assuming this is the same as the other question you posted - you cannot use the one event to set move routes when you change maps - so am going to close. Please keep your questions related to your opening cutscene in a single thread.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
