Okay this is definitely the last bit of help I need with this script...

...Probably...

This script supports sprite changes for states. I had someone (D4yz) make me KOed sprites for my characters. Problem is... it seems that being KOed just causes them to vanish like an enemy instead of calling for the specified sprites. I need to override this function and make it so that the sprites I specify in the script will be loaded when they die instead of having them just disappear.

Can anyone tell me what needs to be changed in the script to cause this effect?

you need the state-sprites with specific names, and you need to set those names in the last part of the configuration part - the example in the description uses the "_poison"-state.

The description is a bit short there, I think you'll need to change the Zero into the ID of the state, otherwise that wouldn't make sense...

Already did that. It seems that something in the script causes it to automatically turn state 1 (Death) into a "vanish the actor" command.

When I had no specified sprites for death, it would vanish them.

When I specified "actor1_dead" in the script without pointing to an image, it caused a crash, looking for a _dead image.

But when I added in the _dead image, it just reverts to being like how it was when I hadn't specified a _dead image, with them just vanishing.

Edit: For the record, other states work properly, loading the sprite I've specified.

I don't see anything in Jet's script that checks for actor death to vanish sprites, so I believe that is due to the action of the default engine in which any battle sprite tied to a dead battler is vanished... so you will need another script or an edit that disables that behavior... I think there might be some in the masterlist

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
Yay, now back in action Happy Christmas time, coming back!

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
