The plugin currently forces you to use the X key or right mouse button. There's currently no way for you to change the specific key used for Olivia's Skip Cutscene plugin. However I would imagine that it is more than possible. Although I don't know how myself due to not knowing how to write javascript. As stated on the page provided by Yanfly, Olivia allows edits to the plugin so long as the info section remain intact (i.e. crediting olivia.). So I was wondering if anyone had looked into this or would consider doing so?

I would commission someone to do it, but at the moment it's not something I can do. Maybe in the future.

on line 300 and 349 is the word ('cancel')

this reverse to X button (as default).

shift, up, down, left, right, ok are default values,
key values or names like K, O, F, D DOES NOT WORK.

in order to use those, you can either do the following:
1) alias the function and have a keymapper to use ALL keyboard output,
so you can replace cancel to E, T, C etc,

2) add the button there, and place above or below the keymapper (should be tested)

while it's a paid plugin, not anyone can help you with it if they dont have it.

I actually forgot it was a paid plugin. However as to what you're saying here. It's referencing 'cancel' which is a function assigned by rpgmaker. And you are suggesting to try changing the reference to a key input such as the key input E. Commenting out the original of course so that it isn't lost to the void.

While using a keymapper to add the key to possible inputs recognized by rpgmaker.

you just change the cancel with with the button you desire to skip it.
but to use any button other than default require a keymapper plugin so full
keyboard input can be used.

there are other methodes like event the skip scene when the button is pressed
or jump to a label when pressing it.

some plugins make it looks nicer in the way like olivia, which is scene in some games
as well by holding it, so it doesn't go instantly.

Swag collecting in the new randomly generated area. Now the mini map also shows the randomly generated features... And even illustrates the whole "bubble" system" that I made to manage memory... Though that part's inadvertent. We'll just call that "the fog of war"... Yes, that's what we'll do. Nobody will be the wiser! :kaopride:

Definitely glad I haven't released a few of my plugins that are technically done. As I learn more, I find ways to make my code more efficient, and in one case so far, discovered an existing function that did EXACTLY what I created my own function to do.
