Hi!

Sorry if this is in the wrong place.

I was wondering if anyone know of any good combat systems that allow on map combat? I am going to be using PVG Medieval graphics, and would like to set up a "diablo" styled game. I know this is probably a little dumb to say when using RPG Maker, but I am not that big of a fan of the sideview battles.

If there are any other combat systems you would recommend, please do. :)

Those are usually called "action battle systems" or ABS around here, and they are among the most complex battleplugins to write, usually taking at least a year of work.
I know of only two tries for MV, one of them already abandoned in beta.
The other might still be in the works, just check the Plugin in development forums here.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
Yay, now back in action Happy Christmas time, coming back!

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
