One event to multiple tiles, when one is activated, how to deactivate the others?

Hey! I'm fairly new to RPG Maker VX Ace, and I'm in the process of creating a game, my first, for me and some friends, and quite a few of them are very excited to see the result.
But I've run into a problem that I've been stuck with for some hours now.

The image I've attached explains the problem.

Create a second event page with a switch as its condition.  Make sure there are no event commands on the SECOND PAGE; the "NOOOOOO" is on the FIRST PAGE.  Turn this switch on in a different event in order to allow the player to pass.  Copy and paste this event as needed.

I'd post pictures, but...I don't know how.  It's about as ironic as the illegitimate child of O. Henry and Alanis Morrisette.

Make a second page on one of the events.

Link that event to a switch.  (Not a Self-Switch.  Just a regular one.)

Make it so the event does nothing .

Now hit the Copy Event button.

Finally, move to each event you want to stop and open it up and hit Paste Event to copy the page from the first event to the next one.

Linking them all to the same switch will make them all stop once that switch is turned on.

Didn't work, so I take it I have forgotten something or done something wrong. Do I have to put in "Erase Event" or some stuff somewhere?

And were all three tiles supposed to look like this?

On page 1, below the NOOO text, you gotta put in a switch command, turning the NOOO switch on.

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
