Progressing nicely myself, already finished storyboarding and started making (well, using lazy gimp techniques to alter) graphics. You will play as a ghost haunting a long abandoned domicile (back story of ghost is up to the player to decide) as a single father and his daughter move in and begin renovating it into their home. Gonna let you do all kinds of classic ghost stuff such as screwing with electronics, throwing plates, invading dreams (text adventure minigame) and befriending children for nefarious (or maybe even not nefarious) purposes such as scaring the new occupants away or finding a way to coexist...or just watch them benignly for a week until the house changes to the point where you can't stay there anymore and are forced to go to...wherever ghosts go when they can't haunt the living anymore.
This is such a cool random challenge, I haven't felt this creative in months.
Also, the Monty Python reference in the tags compels me to include such a reference in my game as well, surely that was its intent. Maybe some of the dream invasion choices will be turning their dreams into Monty Python skits.
