Let me set this up.

In my game, you can find tomes that are only used to be sold for a good amount of money. I want to include a NPC that will buy the tomes for double the usual price, but only once per tome and then give away a unique accessory upon the final tome.

So I want to set up the event so he sees a 'Blank Tome' and asks to buy it for 200, double the price. But after you sell it to him, he doesn't ask for a 'Blank Tome' again. And so on and so forth until all 6 of the tomes are bought, in which he gives you the accessory and leaves. Now, I can definitely set up the exchange of the items and the money, I just want to prevent him from seeing any other tomes and replaying that specific event thread.

Is it under variable? Or do I have to set up a individual control switch? Am I overthinking this?

You can make him under a variable and have him disappear once you've added to that variable (while opening up said shop).

Alright, please explain how I can do this? Set it up so he sees 'one item', asks to buy it, he sells you, and then he wants the next tome in line?

Exactly. I assumed you knew about conditional branches, and I assumed correctly. ;)

Oh yeah, I forgot that existed. It's in a different category!

Now, I can set it up. But how I do prevent the branch from reactivating? How do I stop the branch from loading once I deliver the good?

EDIT: What I mean is: I give him the first item, the Blank Tome. Then, what do I do next to move to the next item and prevent the first branch, the Blank Tome, from triggering again?

RMMV
Make a conditional branch with a switch , and put the conditional branch which checks if the player got the item inside of the switch one. Then, when you give him the blank tome for the first time, you flip the switch, and voilà.

Condition Branch, If switch Blank Tome = ON
Condition Branch: If party has item "item name"
you cant sell this anymore
ELSE
Ah i see a black toom, do yo want to sell it to me?
(maybe choice here)
END =)
so when the switch is OFF, you can sell it, if its ON you cant anymore

Something like this? Then I create a new event page? (The first page is a introduction, which triggers A switch which leads to page two, a generic comment)

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
