Let me set this up.
In my game, you can find tomes that are only used to be sold for a good amount of money. I want to include a NPC that will buy the tomes for double the usual price, but only once per tome and then give away a unique accessory upon the final tome.
So I want to set up the event so he sees a 'Blank Tome' and asks to buy it for 200, double the price. But after you sell it to him, he doesn't ask for a 'Blank Tome' again. And so on and so forth until all 6 of the tomes are bought, in which he gives you the accessory and leaves. Now, I can definitely set up the exchange of the items and the money, I just want to prevent him from seeing any other tomes and replaying that specific event thread.
Is it under variable? Or do I have to set up a individual control switch? Am I overthinking this?
