So, I've been putting together a game recently, and wanted to make it so that the player could only save at specified locations, like events where I've put the script to open he save menu. I've looked through the menus, and I cant find any option to enable this. Anyone want to give me a hand?

When your game begins, run an event that have the event command Change Save Menu Access -> Disable

Then on your save events, use the event command Open Save Menu

Or if you want the save menu to simply be enabled in those maps, then on the events that transfer you to that map, use

Change Save Menu Access -> Enable, then on all events that transfer you from that map use

Change Save Menu Access -> Disable to disable the menu again

search the forum for "save crystal", that is what they're usually called and there should be tutorials about that.

Basically, an event on your starting map will disable save access by event command, then you place events that call the save screen directly on the maps where you want those save points.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
