Opening Bin File

I got RPG maker mv on my old Microsoft laptop then i got a mac. I can't figure out how to open the bin file to use the program. Can somebody tell me how to open the bin file. I tried using a suffit expander. Is it still only on steam. Plz answer. Thank you for reading.

The bin file is part of the windows setup and has absolutely nothing to do with MacOS.


At the moment, you can run the Mac-Version only by Steam - the standalone installer for mac encountered problems and is not yet available, everyone is waiting for the japanese programmers to solve the problem.


Until they do, you have to install steam to run RMMV on MacOS.

Thank you Adnar but how do i restore my purchase using steam? I don't want to buy RMMV again when i already have it.

Just login to Steam and run RPG Maker MV from there on the Mac.

In the game menu of steam, you can activate a product by entering a key.


Use your standalone MV key there
