    Hey Hudell,

    Been awhile, thought I'd check back in to see if you had time or not to check in on that plugin.js yet? :D  If not I'll keep waiting ^_^ Just wanted to check though at least.

    Hello!

    I try a special Hud produce. For this I wanted to show icons that I control a variable.

    For example: \i[$gameVarables.setValue(id)]

    By the number I would be able to regulate which icon is displayed on the spot.

    Furthermore:

    nameChar = vorname1[Math.round(Math.random()*(vorname1.length-1))] + vorname2[Math.round(Math.random()*(vorname2.length-1))] + " von den " + nachname1[Math.round(Math.random()*(nachname1.length-1))] + nachname2[Math.round(Math.random()*(nachname2.length-1))];

    $gameActors.actor(1).setName(nameChar);

    So I would like to generate a random name, also works well, but unfortunately, when I save it in a variable and the display Hud is not me he name but the formal display.

    Can we do something here?

    Greetings Kojote

    Not sure if I understand what you're trying to do, but you can use the ScriptPattern param for complex huds. To display an icon from a variable you could use something like this:

    '\i[' + $gameVariables.value(1) + ']'

    I didn't test it, but it should work.

    Sure. And there's no need for credits.

    Hello!

    Thanks for the reply!
    I would basically like to display text. The components of the text are stored in variables.

    This would be the basic structure:

    $gameVariables.setValue(80, "Hello");

    $gameVariables.setValue(81, " ");

    $gameVariables.setValue(82, "World");

    $gameVariables.setValue(79, $gameVariables.value(80) +

    $gameVariables.value(81) +

    $gameVariables.value(82));

    My problem now is that I do not know how I can display it properly. I have tried to make the text now on 'OrangeHudAlignedLine' show and have the number 79 entered in the variable display. It was shown me nothing. So I tried it with '\ v [79]' in Pattern, this brought no display. I have now tested other plugins like 'OrangeHudLine' but here it was not displayed correctly.

    Can you help me?

    And sorry, English is not my native language. ^^ "

    I'm experiencing a similar problem, except the orangehudline.js file is calling a variable that the OrangeHubLineGroup.js isn't calling.
    The former calls ID 3, while the latter calls ID 31-40.

    I'm confused. I also can't get multiple instances of the LinkGroup to appear in one HUD.

    Btw, I noticed that to utilise copies of any add-on, the original name has to remain?
    "OrangeHudLineGroup - Stats" is recognised, but
    "OrangeHud - Stats" (same script) isn't recognised. Is that how it's set up?

    So with the OrangeHudGroup which allows a new group of lines to create a different hud, if I make a Hudline and set it to the name of the new grouphud group name it should display there correct?

    Is there a way to make the HUD disappear when a conversation starts?

    Edit Again: HA! Fixed it. So I deleted OrangeHudLine from my plugins, and made a copy of OrangeHudLineGroup.js  and in the plugins as well. Set the single variable parameters in the 2nd group and it worked ^_^

    EDIT: Okay so after some more testing I've narrowed it down to OrangeHudLine  being the cause. When I turn it off, the 0 goes away.... will try putting that in a different group I guess, see if that works. Otherwise will have to figure what to do since I need that line for the player's Vitality lol

    I'm trying to get this to work but it only shows zeroes. I finally got it to show it in a clock and date format but it's all zeroes.

    The plugins I'm using are:

    Orange time system

    Orange hud

    Orange hud date

    Orange hud clock

    Am I missing a plugin?maybe my values are off..? I tried to follow the demo but it only helped me show the hud...

    You need "Orange Time System Variables" addon. The time system will then save the current time on variables and you can show those variables on the hud.

    Thanks for the quick reply! :) I'll try this when I get home.

    Edit: Finally got around to it today. Boy do I feel sheepish. The answer was staring me in the face this entire time.:) Sorry for taking up your time. I appreciate your quick reply though. Thank you!
