Nobody had reported this issue before :/

Can you send me your project? You can remove all images and audio and unneeded maps to make the file smaller.

The OrangeTimeSystemVariables script has no configured parameters on the plugins.js file.

But the plugins.js that you had sent me earlier had those... I think someone had mentioned on another thread that their parameters were being erased by rpg maker. I may have to look into that.

Sorry for double posting.. but... When I manually reinserted the data:

{"name":"OrangeTimeSystemVariables","status":true,"description":"Exports Orange Time System data to variables","parameters":{"secondVariable":"2","minuteVariable":"3","hourVariable":"4","dayVariable":"5","monthVariable":"6","yearVariable":"7","weekDayVariable":"9","dayPeriodVariable":"8"}},

into the plugins.js... it started working again.

Something must be causing your plugin to wipe it's configuration from the plugins.js.... That person you recall having mentioned the data wipes seems to have been on the right track with this..

I fixed both add-ons now, sorry for the trouble. The data was being wiped because RPG Maker was not finding the param names.

Don't worry about apologizing. It wasn't your fault. Thanks for the fix. Really appreciated.

So RPG Maker MV Limits what is the max variables one can go? Can I set to like 5001 5002 for example?

I know Ace I started having issues with so many plugins using so many variables or was it switches or maybe was both but so many things triggering each other and was annoying to set it up haha.

You're limited by the editor only. If you set 99999 to one of the params, the plugin will save the value on variable 99999, even though you can't use it anywhere else because the editor doesn't let you.

Thank you and ugh that editor is pathetic. All these limits and yet the entire client open source and can easily go beyond but they still refuse to open it up for us. I hope down the road if they don't change their ways someone ends up making a new editor. And if that happens that means good by RPG Maker because it will end up being an entire open source community besides us owning first copy of MV lol.

It was about time someone did tbh. I'm glad it's you of all people but I knew no matter what it will happen. It's not as complex as some people would think it is. I mean there will be some hurdles but most of it is data entry. We use to do that easily via vb6 :p

I started it as soon as MV launched, but I don't have much yet.

Is there any way to have an event 'respawn' with this plugin.  For instance I currently have an evented gathering system where the player chops down a tree and gets some resources form it.  I want the tree to respawn after 30 seconds(using self switches to change the graphic and such).  So is there some sort of plugin call that allows me to say "After 10 seconds deactivate self switch A" or something of the sort? Thanks!

    Hey Hudell,

Just gotta say first, great work on the plugins! They're coming a long way to making the game I always dreamt of making. But I digress, I'm not here to report a bug or anything, but rather query something. Say that my game is using the real time structure, and I start playtesting at 21:02 in the evening, would the variable for "dayPeriod" = 4? Cause that's what I figured, though it seems to only recognize a value of 0 in my conditional branch. Is this because that's the first dayPeriod that the game had when starting up...?

Ughh, as you can see, I'm rather confused. Could ya help me out with getting the variable to check what the actual dayPeriod is rather than how many dayPeriod's have passed?

    Much thanks!

This has been requested a few times and I thought I had made it already, but apparently not. I'll make sure to add this feature once I get some time.

The day periods go from 0 to 3 if I recall correctly. 0 means night time (before morning and after afternoon).

What value do you want that variable to have?
