Other RPG forums

Hey guys, do we know of any other forums for RPG Game creation? I ask as I am working on my own engine for a system that was never designed for games and doing pretty well so far but I need more geeky gamer's feedback to try and move forward

did you try googling "rpg maker forum"? I found 3 forums in the first page and there's one or two others that I know about that weren't shown there (might be on the second page).

I have googled it a lot but most of them are dead, based on there own maker or all some how related to the RPG Maker Range EG: 2000+ XP and VX+ I am creating a system that is for another tool that I would like some strong feed back on, I already have some of it working but there are much more I could get working.

I created the hole system from images not any DirectX or OpenGL so I am limited on a few things but I got the basics down well I think.

There's rpgmakervxace.net and rmrk.net - they're the only ones that I was a part of that are still active. There may be more, but I only ever visited a few. I barely have time to keep up with ONE - can't imagine trying to be active in several at a time.

Second this, releasing your game here compared to here may have different pros and cons. But if you stick to these two sites to release your games there's little need to look anywhere else. You can even host non-RM games since that's what you are looking for.

rpgmakervxace.net is kinda dieing out IMO, not surprised since it's just heading in the same direction as Vx.net. But like Vx.net, it was an awesome site during it's prime. But it's not a terrible idea to release your game their as long as you also did this site and RMN.net as well.

rmrk.net is a site I hardly ever visited, but I just checked recently and there wasn't even a post anywhere on the forums today. I think this one doesn't have much breath left.

I don't know many sites not focused on RM, though. My entire Internet life has been mostly on RM sites.

I was thinking of opening an account to rm.net, but after of what I heard, I am really sceptic of the community there...
