Other ways to encrypt a file than enigma box?

Hi guys, 


I am having a problem with the enigma visual box.


After I encrypt my deployed file with it the encrypted game crashes randomly.


Before encryption it works without problem!


And I made sure to follow the instructions in the RPG Maker MV help file point for point and it worked before!


So do you know either what could be the problem or a (maybe better) alternative?

That the strange part, It doesnt show any error massage, the game just shuts down

Well, you could download my current Demo and have a look at it yourself.


I only noticed because someone who played it told me. After that I tried it myself and had the same problem.


He said that it might be a windows 10 related problem, which makes sense because I have win10 too and because its ALWAYS causing some problems...

assuming it's a win 10 problems is false I have win 10 myself and I don't get error like that I would suggest to check your game code or files who might provoke crash when encapsulated.

How far did you play?


If its me it crashes after you leave the church

That thing is almost a whole gig, run your game in the editor with the console open and check for anything.

You mean the virtual box?
Have you tried other games that are encrypted with it? I used the same encryption on mine and didn't get any crash. Let me try your game and see if I encounter the problem.

Try to run it in Administrator Mode....Hope this will fix your problem because it fix this problem in my PC.

You didn't exclude the unused files?
The file size could be a reason why the virtual box did not work properly, though I'm not sure.

@RishigangiX I did manually but I have some plugins that need some graphics like collision maps, parallaxes  and so I cant use the "exclude unused files" option...


@RishVars I will try that!

Use exclude and put them back in manually...

I am sorry for the double post but I hope you will forgive me!


Followed @RishigangiX guide and cut down the size of my file by halve but after I use engima visual box the game still crashes at the same place.


Did as @RishVars Said and tried running it as administrator but that didnt help either.


Took a look at the alternatives you told me but I have no clue how to make cameyo do the same thing as enigma visual  box because I need to install the program I want to encrypt aaaaand I cant do that with the game.


The other one costs money ( that I dont have)
