Game Story:
Demon Lords are known to be evil, destructive and powerful. Controlling massive numbers of monsters, they raid towns, villages, and kill anything in their paths. Of course, with darkness comes light. Heroes rises and they fight against the soon-to-come end of the world. Follow the story of the Young Demon Lord name Askul as he encounters Heroes, Demons, and unravels mysteries buried deep within the world's history. Go through wacky moments, emotional moments, happy moments, and find how the story unfolds.
Characters(More to be added):
Protagonist: Demon Lord Askul, the 666th Demon Lord of the Western Regions.
Fru'el - Askul's Right-Hand Man, his relationship with Askul seems to be more than what his title states.
Ne-Me - A very young Neko-Tribesman who is seeking a to be known as rare item in the mountains.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
