So I am trying to make a fangame that's non commercial and being based on Pac-Man I thought about including these little instances where you would fight Ghosts and play cat & mice like the original games. I was wondering if this is possible, The best example I can give to show is the Spectral Monster fights in Pac-Man World 3.

Here's some footage for an inspiration.

You need to eat a certain number of them to progress, but you must have a power pellet to do so, Along with that: Is there a way to make them hurt my team members without having to pop up some dialogue box or so?

you can do all of that without scripts. in fact, its basic eventing and can be done in the trial version (i think)

I forgot what the fruits do in original Pac-Man, but yeah. That's how the rest of it works.

If your map where this is taking place is an open area without any walls, yeah, eventing is easy enough.

If it's more like a labyrinth (like the original Pac-Man), than no, it can't be done without at least a pathfinder script, unless you want utterly dumb ghosts which won't move 99% of the time.

Btw, the ghost event can be a player touch event too. The autonomous movement can be used to setup it's movement, and the rest won't really trigger before the player and event collides. You can switch the pages with switch conditionals easily (to change when the player can eat the event, and when the event kills the player).

Don't forget, aspiring writers: Personality isn't what your characters do, it is WHY they do it.
Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
Sadly I don't know how that would be possible so I would be needing help! If you can help me in any way I would really apreciate it!
