Being someone who never played any JRPG's before, I find it somewhat boring to see that the armour/clothes/equipment I find in a game do not change how your character looks when equipped.
This breaks some of the immersion I have in a game and decreases the amount of customization I would like my game to have.
Are there any scripts that add paperdolling to the game? Would it be even possible to add this feature in with scripting?
I did take a look at the giant list of scripts available for Ace, but theres so many I may have missed a few.
Before posting this topic I did a forum search for "paperdolls" with only a few results. So I realise that some may not know what a paper-doll is..
Paperdoll's are seperate sprite sheets containing just the armour or equipment. When a character equips this item, the sprite sheet is overlaid on top of the character giving the player the illusion that the character is actually wearing something new.
