OK I noticed that when I am at the bottom of the map the top of the parallax background graphic shows at the very bottom of the map when it shouldn't be. Why?

The resolution is set to 960x720.

Your map isn't big enough to match your resolution. A 960x720 resolution would need a standard 30x23 map to be able to fill the entire screen. If it doesn't fill the screen, a parallax is used to 'fill it up'. 720 is a weird resolution to set it though (since increments of 32 pixels would fit RM best).

Impossible.

The map is 120x240 so its more than big enough.

720 isn't divisible by 32... try fitting it to a height divisible by 32 and see if it will then work.

The engine paints tiles per tile, the total number of which is based on the width and height divided by 32. Any extra pixel won't be painted as it won't pass as a tile.

Then the cause is most likely because the resolution doesn't fit the 32 pixel sequences, and the engine can't fill the screen with half tiles.

Please try if the effect is there with 960x704 or 960x736.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
