Parallax Loop speed

Hi!! I was just wondering, is there a way to make a parallax loop faster than the default max (32). I want to make an effect where clouds are speeding by very fast, to make it look like a large amount of time is being passed. It's an effect i see sometimes in movies and i'd like to implement it. Thanks in advance!

I'm looking for something similar. I'm trying to make a scene where the main character is falling down a whole while some dialog plays so I was hoping to have the background I made scroll up about double the max speed that is currently available.

$gameMap._parallaxSx = value;
$gameMap._parallaxSy = value;

Using these in a script command will let you set scroll speeds greater than the editor maximum.

Forgive me but I am unable to get this to work. I should use this in the advanced section for events 'Script'? and value is replaced by a number for example -64? New to script calls completely.
