Hey. I'm in the very, very early stages of making a game, and I want a mechanic that changes the player's appearance based on what armor they're wearing. In the opening scene, you start out in your pajamas equipped as armor and need to change in to your clothes by equipping them, rather than just clicking on a cabinet or something. I figured out how to make it change your graphics if you change in to the clothes, and it works just fine. But I'm having trouble figuring out how to make it change back if you re-equip the pajamas, or switch to an underwear graphic if you don't have any armor equipped. I'm using conditional branches in a parallel process, and it works, but only once per room, so if you change back, you'll have to switch screens for the player model to change. I tried looping it, but then it gets stuck looping the fade out/change model/fade in animation for whatever outfit you equipped. Anything will help. Thanks!

Have you tried using an item variable? :)

Oh sorry! use conditional branch :)  so that certain events will only happen if your character equips certain items. Is that what you were looking for?

Ahhhhh sorrry! I just realized you're already using conditional branch x'D let me try out and get back to you soon!

RMMV
Show us screenshots of your event - if it works only once per room, then you have made a mistake in the event, perhaps erasing it or something else.

Because by definition, parallel processes don't stop and work always...

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
