Guys, I'm having a problem with parallex mapping. You see when I save my map to a map image, the size is reduced and when I try to enlarge it, it is very blurry especially when I make big maps. Any recommendations to make it clearer???

@Sards Then most likely you made a mistake on saving the map data - a parallax picture needs a size of 48x48 pixel per tile of the map.

So which mapshot script/plugin are you using for the initial picture?

(you can't use the editor's build-in feature, that is intended for showcases and advertisement and not full scale)

Oh Sorry. The real problem is that when it saves as a mapimage, the size is reduced and when I resize it to match the correct proportions(by multipyling the number of tiles to 48) it turns to a low-resolution image. However, I use BindPictureToMap plugin

Are you talking about using the save map image function in MV? Yes, it automatically saves it at 50%. There is a plugin somewhere that allows you to save the map images at 100%.

you need to install a mapshot plugin to take the correct mapshot - that is a completely different thing than bindpictures to map, which is for placing the finished parallax picture.

Please search the plugin list for "mapshot" - there are two or three such plugins available. Install them to get your base picture and deinstall them before you finish the game, because they would have absolutely no use in the game later.

Likely in the MV section. It is better to make a new folder where you want the mapshot to go and copy the path then set the path in the Mapshot parameters.

Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
