Paralysis state help

Hello I'm trying to make a state for paralyze as the rmvx ace one is basically just a longer version of stun. How would I make it so in a battle when it's a characters turn to attack or use a spell you can but there is a chance for it too be stopped because you are under paralysis? As the default if you are under paralysis you just have your turn missed. I have tinkered about but cannot figure out how to get this too work :S

Hope this was right area to post this!

Anyone? I have no clue how to do this i tried making a common events but cannot get it too work :( I really want to change how paralyze works make more like the pokemon version of it.

Paralyze - Has a chance of interrupting a battlers turn meaning they will not act for that turn

I have a script that might solve your problem:

This script allows to setup a trait that allows to apply states automatically under certain conditions.

So you can make your "Paralyze" state, with no restriction, and then setup it to have a random chance of applying the stun state automatically, before the action. You can make a custom stun state with no icon and different message for the paralyse stun.

I'm not very experienced with scripting but i tried doing this and nothing happens :( I even tried copying the examples that are within this script and nothing happens. I have states actors, enemies, classes with notetags.

<apply auto state action start: 227>

state?(229); rand(100) < 70;

</apply auto state>

227 is the stun state and 229 is the placeholder (no restriction one)I have a high percent just to see if it workes. I will try on a blank new project and see if it works after i wake up.

Place this on the state 229:

I also made a small improvement on the script, so you should update it.

At first i was getting a popup too install or move a script when i would playtest i only have this one now and the Basic module and i removed the tags on everything else but the placeholder state and it works now!!! TY Victor :D
