Using Yanfly's Status Menu plugin, or more likely a custom script based on it, to show the character's primary parameters on one page, and then some new secondary ones on another, would it be easier to redefine the base parameters (Attack, Defense, M. Attack, etc.) to behave differently from their default with regards to what equations use them and their other effects, or would it be easier to move certain of those parameters to the second page?
For example, I'd like to have a level-based Vitality stat that increases Max HP (the reason being to allow equipment bonuses to HP to have level-based diminishing returns), and an Armor stat that derives solely from equipment which reduces damage taken. Vitality should show up on the primary status page, and Armor should show up on the secondary page. Would it be easier to redefine DEF to function as Vitality, and create a new Armor stat, or to leave DEF as Armor, create a new stat for Vitality, and move them around to show up on the right pages?
(P.S. There are several other stats I'd like to do similar things with, like having ATK modify a weapon-based damage stat rather than be used as the base damage stat, so it isn't just the one.)
